The Old Library and Lower Concourse

Built in 1928, the Old Library with it’s oak panels and impressive hand-carvings of 17th and 18th century sailing vessels compliments the naval heritage of Lloyd’s with the modern architecture of the Lord Richard Rogers building. The Old Library can seat up to 170 people for a meeting or you can add the lower concourse to throw a cocktail party for 350 people. During events in the Old Library guests can take tours of the Nelson Collection in the Underwriting Room, which includes a firsthand account of the battle of Trafalgar and provides a great talking point for your guests.
